It does appear that my actions were pretty stupid last night. It happens that I received a new book in the mail, I hadn't opened it up yet entitled "the Complete Idiot's Guide to Motorcycles" (some relative of mine trying to be funny!) ANd it says that the worst hazard is the wet pavement. I was going so slow, that it was my feet that had a problem, not the tires. It was slick. I was not the tallest thing around, there are lots of trees, alothough on the road, I was among the taller things to hit. Lesson Learned.
